Universal Pictures has announced intentions to develop a new movie based on the best-selling game Clue, with Gore Verbinski (of Pirates of the Caribbean fame) as director.I only have one problem with this... it was already done back in 1985, and was poorly received by critics and moviegoers back then (I loved it, but I'm notorious for liking bad movies). Remaking a movie that wasn't terribly successful the first time around sounds an awful lot like Einstein's definition of insanity.
The only way in hell I'd go see this is if Tim Curry reprises his role as the butler.
